Loving memory of Sarah Frenzel-Pinckney

The John B. Gorrie Foundation lost a dear friend and supporter on August 18, 2011. On that sad day Sarah Frenzel-Pinckney passed away. We have so many memories of Sarah. She worked tirelessly at Gorrie Elementary. On our campus you can see her beautiful gardens blooming all around. Your memorial donation will help keep Sarah’s spirit alive for many years at Gorrie Elementary.

Suzuki Violin Donation Program

For the past 7 years Gorrie Elementary has offered the violin instruction program to students.  The John B. Gorrie Foundation has provided violins and other musical supplies for this program.  Last year the Hillsborough County School System decided not to fund an instructor for our program.  The John B. Gorrie Foundation, in conjunction with Mitchell Elementary, committed to privately funding the instructor’s salary so that our students could continue participating in this valuable program.  We are asking for your help this year and are requesting a tax-deductible donation of $200 from every student participating in the Suzuki Violin Program.  This donation is NOT mandatory and ALL students will participate regardless of individual donation.  Of course, any donation amount, whether more or less, is greatly appreciated.  Thank you for your support of this wonderful program!  Remember all contributions to this program are tax-deductible.
